Given the things you post, I think you likely go through it a lot more quickly than we do. 50lbs will last us the better part of a year, generally.

It's just King Arthur AP flour. They give it a fancy name when selling it in bulk.

Well Thanksgiving dinner this year is just me, the wife and kids. Typically I make a huge monstrous meal with traditional Turkey and a Rib Roast when it's with our extended family. So I asked the kids what they wanted for Thanksgiving dinner and it was unanumious, steaks and bakes.
So I just picked up 4 nice looking bone in ribeyes. (no pics)
I also got my order of pickups from Bootstrap. They came in WAY faster than expected. So I'm up to my elbows in Strat pickups to try.
I got a set of his "Golden Ale" pickups, which is vintage Alnico II's in the neck and middle and an overwound A5 bridge.
I also got a set of his "Sun City Selects" which are a bit hotter than vintage in the neck and middle with the same 7.4k bridge. A5's all around.
The build quality of his strat pickups is very good and considering how good his pickups sound, the $50 price per set is pretty ridiculously affordable.

Got me about 10 of those little things. Likely from the same seller.
The build doc suggests SIP sockets for testing out tubes. This, honestly, makes about 0 sense to me. Difficult to solder in place, doesn't make for a clean looking build.
I ordered some screw terminals from tayda that look like they should fit the board's pitch, should be arriving Wednesday. I'll let you know how they work out:

New toy. Entry level but it'll do the job I reckon. I just got sick of hand drilling enclosures. I can get good results but it is tedious and requires patience which I sometimes just don't have. Now, where to put that thing... No space in my flat, guess I finally got a good reason to declutter the basement.

Just in time to test orange drops capacitors for polarity! FNIRSI 1014D. The signal generator does not go down to guitar effect levels but I figure I can make a simple passive attenuator? Anyone else have one of these?
I don’t plan on building a SLO (but never say never) but of his books this one seemed to cover the topics I was most interested in - like DC coupled cathode followers etc. It’s a very good intermediate level read

@peccary How does the vacuum sealed flour do? I have a woodfired pizza oven and make pizzas all summer, little to cold to do in Denver during the winter. We buy a big bag of the OO flour, always have some left over in the fall.
