Have you tried it on guitar? I'm kinda mulling over whether to build the BassDude or the Nobelium. I don't need the lo-z out or anything.
Not a ton, just a little when i first built it when testing it for functioning. I mostly use my particle accelerator for guitar, in fact it's now a permanent part of my practice and testing set up. I don't see how it could be a bad thing though. Seems to play nice with all the dirty synthy nonsense I throw at it.

I would assume the bassdude would be more useful to you as it's more broadly useful for both imo but I have nothing bad to say about any of the 3 pedals I've mentioned. The only reasons I could see you building the nobelium over the bassdude would be for the DI or maybe if the "bassman sound" would be a redundancy in your collection since you've built so many dirtboxes.

I’ve built both and they’re both fantastic. I run the BassDude as the preamp running into a Fryette power station and it sounds incredible both on guitar and bass.

The Nobelium is also great, I’ve used it mostly as a direct box and have gotten some really great tone out of it.

BassDude is probably a little more versatile imo, at least it is for my use cases.

oh rubbish this is in completely the wrong thread isn't it?
Also reading that not all 4046 are equal.

Depends on the circuit, but I've found this true of a few different CD4xxx chips.
The Low Tide seems to work best with TI or Motorola 4046. Harris and RCA haven't worked as well, in my experience

Mines a Ti

What’s interesting is that it sounds beautiful but a big subtle on bass - might have a play with modding see what it sounds like!

USPS nearly got it right. PPCB order from the last sale, was slated to be delivered Saturday, per the tracking got delayed to Tuesday since they don’t deliver on Sunday and today is a holiday. No big deal.

Walk out to shovel snow this morning, lo and behold there is a package poking out from under my door mat. Apparently the USPS did deliver it on Sunday at noon. With it being single digit highs and negative temps for the lows, we didn’t go outside once yesterday.

Only reason I went out today when it was 3 degrees was to shovel.

Luckily there wasn’t much snow on the package, plus they were sealed in for freshness.
