What's your current headache?

Working on Chuck's Viceroy and can't get the transistors even remotely close to correct voltages. I need to sit down with the schematic before I throw in the towel and ask for help on this one.

I had a lot of trouble whit my Viceroy build, and my takeaway from that is that it's probably pretty picky with the transistors you use.
 
Tried using a sewing machine for the second time in my life to turn some thrash jeans into guitar straps..... Lots of wasted thread screwing up.

Levi's was a client and we did an event where their tailors would make a guitar strap from denim. Even the pros were having a hard time with it, especially wanting the rivets and 5th pocket on it.
 
Having the subfloor replaced in the house this week....... the whole subfloor, the whole house.

I should probably be moving stuff instead of playing on the forum.

On the bright side, I've been procrastinating to install my Starlink satellite because I really don't want to crawl under the house.... I'll be able to walk through the house and just drop the cable on the ground! :D🤪

(I probably still won't do it, and will be bitching next week about having to crawl under the house)

Picked up a nasty debilitating just-a-cold, just before leaving HK, but far worse is having Ahpull's TextEdit decide it can't/won't open my .txt docs.
I don't use powerful word-processors, all I need is text-edit, so all my stuff including pedal build-notes/plans are in .txt or .rtf files that won't open.

Tried a few things such as getting rid of the plist and restarting... next up is loading the latest bloatware, ehrm, so-called "OS" and having to reset everything to my preferences and turn off all ahpull's auto-BS and relearn how to do things and get things the way I want them to be/function...


Mkay, that was tiring to type, time to rest.

I just got my siding replaced... During the coldest winter I've ever experienced and a snowstorm that dropped nearly 2 feet of snow

I have cable at the moment and we just got fiber in the neighborhood last month....

I want to give Starlink a shot so my options for relocating in the future are more open... it seems every time I found the "perfect" place it had no internet access, and regular old satellite is a no go.

TextEdit (not responding)

All the online advice is out of date (though I tried the suggestions). I've ditched the "plist" and all useless files associated with TextEdit, I updated the OS, several re-starts between cleaning out the plist and updating OS etc, went into the command-line to unhide hidden files...
Still TextEdit won't run.

It stopped working randomly, ie not after downloading anything nor changing settings nor updating anything...


F$%^&*g Apple can't even keep a bare-bones word processor stable, and I'm supposed to adopt its "Intelligence" shite?
