Just about $110US shipped from Andertons over in the UK. Stereo Big Muff with presets, headphone out, and a built in stereo audio interface.

Was always interested in it, but absolutely not for the $300+ price tag it normally commands, but since Andertons had them for ÂŁ80 I figured why not!
Only ordered it 2 days ago too— crazy fast turnaround, especially for something sent from overseas

That's a very good price for that! I would be a little worried about software support in the future, but I don't know if that really matters except maybe for the audio interface part.

Yeah, I mainly got it for stereo + presets (the fact that tone bypass and tone wicker are both preset-able is dope), but I may as well see how it is as a stereo interface too.

Not mail exactly, but a friend just delivered these to me-

80s Small Stone. Battery was leaking inside it, surprisingly didn't damage anything other than the snap, so I cut it out. Switches need cleaned / replaced, but, except for the bypass, it sounds amazing

And, an 82 FX50 and first run Grunge. Both work, but the OD is missing the entire bottom plate and foam footswitch. The Grunge needs its LED replaced, and is missing the battery cover

I had my American Standard Strat set up last year but the action is higher and it's more annoying to play than my cheaper SX Strat so I got into it - the neck had too much relief so I straightened it and lowered the action, but the saddles' height adjustment screws were already bottoming out. I used the neck micro tilt to put the neck into such an angle that the bridge can remain floating and I can get the threads of the saddle height adjustment screws back below the saddles. But when setting the action height to about 2/32" I kept fretting out at the 21st fret, which is exactly the point where the micro tilt puts pressure into the back side of the neck. I checked with a straight edge and that fret is slightly higher than the others. So for the time being I had to deck the bridge so I could retain the more correct neck relief and a portion of the lower string height.

In the mail is a 0.5 degree neck shim from Stew Mac for this guitar and a fret dressing file for the other. After this if the fret is still high I'll try smacking it back down with a brass tipped hammer, and if that doesn't work I'll have to file it down to match the others around it. My cheap SX Strat plays great and doesn't need any of this extra attention (except the fret ends!)

The StringJoy Pure Nickels are my favorite strings. They last a long time too.
Do those feel a little thicker or less slinky feeling than other brands of the same gauge? I love the feel and tone of them but they felt tighter. I’ve been playing the D’Addario NYXL for a good while now. They seem to last forever as well especially compared to Ernie Ball Slinky’s. I’d wear a set of those out in AA little over a week!

@falco_femoralis Dont know how much truth there is to it but I swear Dan Erlwein once said that the micro tilt can cause problems in the long run. Maybe a “ski jump” or something. How often do you play at the 21st fret?

Playing at the 21st or 22nd fret is fine, but playing any of the other frets is the hard part. Because the fret is high, any of the flatter notes catch on that fret and don't sustain. Any guitar solo is impossible to play with a nice low action
