Ok, here’s one I’ve been kind of afraid to ask…
When I’m breadboarding, and I try to make a transistor-based circuit, it fails just about every time. By that I mean the audio signal passes through with little change, or it sounds weak. I do your typical troubleshooting, like check the pinouts, 2x check the schematic... I feel like I’m missing a detail from breadboarding 101 or something.
I don’t have this problem when breadboarding IC-based circuits.
There are transistor-based circuits that I would like to tweak and modify- it would be way easier if I figure this out!
