He and I were discussing a recent pedal I had worked on and he just straight up offered me his whole pile of stuff. I was kind of astounded, but I figured even if this is all remainders of unfinished projects, there are plenty of parts to work with here! I already found a few transistors that will be perfect for some upcoming projects I have.

I wish I had that skill! The level of knowledge needed to just look at a bunch of components and know what you could do with them is so impressive to me.
