Hi all,

I am sorry to brother you, but i ran out of ideas and May need a fresh pair of eyes.

Built the byrdhouse, but only getting a noisy Sound, so it seems sth. basic went wrong.
I resoldered All connectiin and double checked that i put the components on the right Spot.

For Sure i made a stupid mistake, else it would work. Is someone able to show me the mistake?
Thank you for your help and a great weekend.
Kind regards,
Peter

The rest looks fine. I'd just go and get some isopropyl alcohol and carefully use a brush to remove the flux residue without the alcohol getting into the pots. Double-check the solder points to make sure there are no bridges.

Hi MicMac,
Thank you for your Support.
I considered this, but thought from the pictures i found in the net I got them right. Obviously Not. Should have done a better Research and Look more carefully to the wiring diagram.
Will give it a try when i am at home.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Nostradoomus, ordered the kit from Musikding in Germany, included the ic nte996

Should get it to work first before upgrading, but just as i am curious too, is there a recommendation for a better working ic?
Cheers Peter

I bought an NTE996 on the internet from a shop here in QC. It does the job as it should.
