DEMO Unicab (hopefully I'm doing this right)

Howdy, this is my first build report here. Did the unicab in my never-ending hunt for cool pedalboard-only solutions. I use a tonex on my board live, but since building the Emu/GT2 and experiencing the analog immediateness, I wanted to go in that direction. Will it replace my tonex? Not sure on that yet, would really need to hear it through a PA with some other pedals and effects.

I included a video I posted on my YT below the pics where I ramble a bit, but then do a little playing with the Aion L5 Drive channel and a DS1. It sounds way better with other distortion pedals, but for some reason I was just in the mood to do it with that one. Blue painter's tape because I always use the soul-destroyingly-bright LEDs. I like the way they look on stage when the fog is being deployed. Not good for photography, though.

Nice demo! I have a Destiny Behemoth project to finish that includes a unicab circuit, and I've got a much better idea what it does now. Bonus points for the Slayer riffs!

Thanks man! Listening back, that DS1 really emphasizes the "directness" of the sound. I think I'll do a follow up with some other pedals, they sound way better. I really like the cleans I get with the L5 and this pedal though. Good stuff.
