Small delay PCBs

I’m building a somewhat wild amp-in-a-pedal and I was looking into adding a delay to it. I’ve come across these, they both look to be on the small side.

THCustom - Merlins Small Time
Madbean - Splunker

Any other smaller delay boards?

Is vero a dealbreaker? When I stuffed a delay onto a board (125b size) with a fuzz and envelope filter with it I used the Crap Fi Delay on tagboardeffects for the proto, worked just fine but I didn’t need nice clean repeats 😂

BYOC's L'il Echo... oh, nevermind... 😿

Ohand nudder ting...

PERF ! just say no to vero.

Etch your own?

Stripboard is dirt cheap and can get the job done. The only downside, IMO, is neatness with offboard wiring.

Thanks for all the good ideas folks. My first successful breadboarding experiments were after following your tutorial @BuddytheReow.

I think this would be a good candidate for slapping the ol PT2399 into the breadboard and trying a few of these.

The other good thing about perf is, that after building a few you'll eventually want to accommodate some mods, so you learn to do your own layouts ...
and once you lay out perf, laying out a PCB is but ...

The same dude who did the crap fi made one called the dirty punk repeater that’s also pretty rad for low parts count delay
The prospect of having a pt2399 test circuit is super appealing. I did a DEFX amnesia build when I first was getting back into building that was stymied by a subpar pt2399. Drove me nuts trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Never posted a build report on that one. Too proud :-x

Mad Bean has a couple 1590B delays that are excellent. I'm partial to the Degenerator. There was also a 1590A 2399 delay, the Cave Dweller, but it's discontinued. you'd have to etch your own.
