Leakage is fairly high, so these are only suitable as hard clippers. Mounting may be a challenge.

You’d need a few if you wanted to plug your pedal into the power line outside.

This seems like a practical compromise. The best buffers use a substation in the power supply section.

dagnabbit, can't find that thread again. Maybe it wasn't a transistor, but another giant diode... memory failing like a bad DRAM installed backwards...

Can't find the pic or the thread even though I DL'd the pic and bookmarked the thread It was a vintage thingy that was about the size of your fist.

I don't think think I've ever needed to rectify my studs. I like 'em just the way they are.

Don't think about the information in the data sheet. The sound of components produced in different years is different. I think only the one produced on March 15, 1970 is the correct Mojo.The color of the shell should be lighter.
