Seems a bit pointless then doesn't it? If I step on a pedal I want it to change stuff otherwise why would I step on it?

To vent, out of shear frustration of your current tone, and then knowing that the pedal won't change your sound, you then proceed to stomp on it, harder and harder like the undying cockroach that it is — smashing it as though you want to send it through the concrete floor to its final resting place, stomping so hard that it doesn't matter whether you're wearing steel-toed work-boots or thin-soled sneakers, your sheer will is going to disintegrate it under your foot ... smashing it again and again and again harder and harder until it is all consuming and the only thing that matters in the universe is its total utter destruction no matter what it was made of it will become a tangled mess of crumpled-metal tangled-wire and crumbling-components nothing short of total tonal annihilation will do it will be unrecognisable it will cease to exist as a pedal indeed as anything...

This is the definition of a transparent overdrive I guess. A buzzword maybe, but used a lot on this forum. For me the videos speak for themselves.

The maker is called Stoll and if really important to you maybe he or she is willing to explain how transparency and 2 channel tonal variety relate to each other.

To be fair, I'm just guessing, but ...

• The Mullet Drive is based on a circuit that preserves the natural sound of your guitar.

• The Red Channel of the Mullet Drive offers a symmetrical mosfet distortion for a “hard” sound.

Pin 1 of the IC on the right goes to a 10K resistor, then on to the clipping section. There is a handful of components in that surrounding area that also somewhat point to the OCD as a possibility.

We'll find out eventually, right now I'm focused on that Hello Kitty Fuzz......
