Paragon / KOT bucket list...

Finally got a big bag of Pink goodies to complete a handful of projects. Theres a KOT for +$700 in the Seattle area which is freaking killing me :ROFLMAO::LOL::oops:.
But,,,,,,, the pedal, as simple as it is, is freaking great! I built this one with both sides using 1k for gain. I tried a 47k on one side to get more hair, but I think if you want more drive you should look elsewhere.
If I were to make another, I would match the vol and gain pots, to have identical sweeps. Im still able to get two nearly identical sides.
The subtle push is great and stacked is glorious. I really like this one. My recent Pro 10 is now in the pile of OD Purgatory.

Paragon Mini into Chop Shop is my go-to overdrive tone right now. Sounds amazing; the only problem is that the Paragon alone suddenly sounds meh when you turn off the Chop Shop!

Nice build !
I have this kit in stock, not started yet.
Is it not too difficult to solder the switch PCB to the main PCB ? The 9 holes are very tiny, I wonder how I will insert the 9 wires in it once at all !
Sorry for my bad English, i'm French ! :geek:

Don’t use wires! Some folks just use resistor legs. You can solder them into the main board using fun-tak and then bend them to fit the smaller board and solder inside the enclosure. Check out other build reports for ideas.

I used 22awg buss wire. soldered 2.5-in. pieces to main pcb first. Then I slightly cut each one about 1mm shorter than each other angling from one side high, to one side low. Mount pcb, Then switchs, Then thread the switch pcb through the buss wires and solder it up.

@giovanni @EZS thanks for your answers ! (y)
Different length of wire soldered on the main pcb, that's what I was thinking of, so one solid wire at a time through the switch pcb holes.
Thanks once again !

If they are the same length, it can be time consuming trying to match all the holes. Its just a little easier one hole at a time. Best luck on your build!
