Built mostly stock, mods are -
Stock, the EHX Bassballs is probably the most underwhelming envelope filter I've ever heard, but these mods all liven it up, and increase the versatility substantially - quick, aggressive quacks to to subtle slow sweeps. Funky smooth to angry synthy, it covers quite a bit of ground.
No rare parts, no tuning, just filtahz
- C4 decreased to 2.7u for shorter decay times.
- C9 & 10 are 27n to shift the lower filter down slightly.
- R12 & 19 each have a 2MB pot wired in series. These pots serve as Resonance controls for each of the filters. At zero, resonance is stock.
- Distortion is now on a footswitch.
- Master volume added to the output, because this thing can get loud with the Rez turned up
- Sens is logarithmic to help spread out the usable range of the pot
