This isn't specifically about C2C, but I'm going to be on the Beyond 11 web show today at 3PM Pacific time (in like 6 minutes) if anyone wants to join in and laugh at my awkwardness.
I was spectacularly awkward, but it was fun. They said the recording of the episode will be posted tomorrow, I'll share the link when it's up. I got to share the start of my pedal building journey, the story behind the name Sushi Box, and some nerdy stuff about my pedals.
Hi. I’m surprised I don’t see just a generic Butler/Chandler Tube Driver. I mean that’s kinda the OG right? Maybe because they’re available elsewhere. I built one on Vero and they’re pretty rad.

It's mostly because they run a lower plate voltage and drive the tube with an opamp up front. I've built a couple in the past and I didn't dislike them, but it's far from being my favorite tube-based drive option.
Hey #Vigilante398 I was wondering about your new Bathtub Reverb.
I have to give #Tassieviking credit for noticing first, but I’m super curious!
Looking at the schematic am I right in assuming it will work fine on Bass as well?

So here is my Bathtub Reverb for Bass.
Was happy with the build and used a three way Guitar/Deep Guitar/Bass mod and LED patch thanks to #Tassieviking
If you want this for bass, I must recommend the Bass mod for C2. I now get three different sound profiles which only extends the use of this pedal. But I'll be using a total of 144nF for C2 in normal bass play.
Some pics:
A three way C2 switch. When I installed the stock 22nF C2 cap I left extra pin through the pcb to give a secure mounting pont:
Now all it needed was a small bridge {blue} between one end of R12 and the RA Header:
Then install in the custom UV print:
Thanks Nathan for another fantastic project!!
I love the new sound
As an update, Tassieviking's idea of 2M resistors accross the switch to pre-charge the high voltage capacitors works a treat. This is the quietest switch on my board.
