What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Large format effects units. Could be giant pedals I guess, but I'm leaning toward rack mount, or some kind of desktop enclosures.

Definitely complicated and expensive.

I got a phaser, a flanger, and a Dim-D style chorus.

I wanted to get the Dim-D style chorus but I was too intimidated and I have the Klark teknik one. I still might get it after I finish the Compact phaser, Storm tide Flanger and Tau Phaser. Are you going to build the mega Dim-d with the Tau board too?

Whoa is this a "ooopsie"?
Air gapped fuse😂
Haven't look too hard but I wonder if they made a last minute design change from a 3pdt to a dpdt footswitch and missed something on the main PCB.
I don't particularly like the footswitch. Very low travel.
The rest of the build quality is pretty good.
Masking on the enclosure around the pots for solid ground connection. The did use T9 screws, which is an unnecessary pita.
I'm guessing is buffered bypass with the two poles. No jfets or milenium setup.
Made in Thailand.

For my cherry SG. I'm trying new things. I have a tort pickguard that may go with them, or perhaps a cream guard and pickup rings.

Ah, life. You read a book that has chapter on human bonsai sex slavery and a few days later you decide to get into actual bonsai with your mom. Their construction worker neighbour has made so many over the last two decades, he's actually put about a dozen in their backyard as well, as he has ran out of room in his own backyard. His wife isn't even allowed to hang laundry to dry in their backyard because it insults his creations. 😅

It's going to take a while still for me to find a home with a balcony, so why not start now at my parents' place? Especially with all get all the know-how from that guy for grabs.

Obviously I am going to take some cuttings from my favorite trees of his here (maple, wisteria and azalea), so I am going to end up doing 10 different species

In case it isn't obvious, use some pin headers with the drill templates.. :D

Bad workmanship on that Frizzler though, it doesn't even have a label! Enjoy!
It is obvious and mentioned on the page for the front drill template!

I wasn't instantly obvious with the IO template though, is the idea that you can set it to two slightly different heights, or why are there two rows?

It's just so it's stronger. I use a double row pin header in there. FWIW it's almost identical to the PPCB dimensions, except it's moved about 1mm further from the lid to accommodate longer IO boards.

Everything I was missing to finish a couple of builds arrived today! Mouser + StompBoxParts + AionFX.

I can only say nice things about all the vendors, but I feel like it's personal with @StompBoxParts and @aion. The stompbox "surprise me" add on's are some very useful NOS Ge diodes and old-school NPN transistors. As I am starting to sell a few pedals, I am definitely going to keep buying from the companies that support our hobby or trade.
I feel like I am on the cusp of having a conversation about drilled cases with the SBP/Cusack.

That's awesome Greg! @StompBoxParts are great folks! (Although I never got any mojo diodes).

My JLCPCB order that was stuck for a while in Qatar has arrived! No picture since I'm sure you've seen them before.

Some South Obolon FX stuff, some from the forums (RWL Sharp Shinned Fuzz, Everlasting Tantrum, Boneyard Hybrid Fuzz Driver, Baron Samedi), a pretty cool decked out Muff board from Github (https://github.com/Circle-Circuits/motherboard), and some PCBWay stuff, including a 22/7 (CMOS Big Muff from ROG) and 100 SMD JFET adapter boards (that might have come from the OSH Park website, I don't remember).

Pending delivery from Aliexpress:
-Fleur Soapbar P90 set (alnico 5)
-Artec Rebel 90 set (alnico 2)
