I actually wouldn't mind building one of those... or something similar.

I don't need a mic to capture the room volume, I just want an always on meter in my workbench signal chain. It doesn't have to be accurate, I just need a point of reference to say "Hey that's working" or not.

You should flip them around, then the tens place really would be an order of magnitude larger than the ones!

@Robert, I am curious about the Fumble pcb's that JHS was giving out. Did you have any communication with JHS, or did they just order a bunch of PCBs?
