Is your 1044 from Mouser ? I had trouble making them work in Isoceles boost. The Tayda one seems to be ok.

I've had a lot of trouble with those and also the Thermionic Deluxe. It seems that there are "cut" on the PCB that appear randomly and you need to probe them to solve the issue. I don't know why this specific design seems to have trouble. I would normally guess that I hurt the PCB with my Iron...

Great Distortion, but as said before, probably not very good in band context since it's so creamy that you won't spark in the mix.

Always been using D9K and they are great. The "false" Tayda 1N34A work also. Just be sure to match them as said before.

D9K are great for the Octave but are not mandatory :)

Exactly, you'll get people angry at you if you cannot help them with their trouble. As said, if you cannot be sure that you can deliver a "quality" product, I wouldn't go there. But hey, if people like your pedals and want to buy them, why not give it a shot. That's how I started... building a...

I had one unit out of the 10 I built that have the same symptoms. I never found the problem...

If you plan on building some more, you'll need to build yourself an Audio Probe to follow the signal path. I would recommend having a look at that and try to follow your input signal with the schematic. You'll find where it pick up noise.

I've done Sea Horse and SeaBed, Captain Bit and RAT and other combinaison without any trouble. Go ahead and get funky :D. If you are really stressed, just put two power jack.... ;)

Some Amp FX Loop are particularly affected by very little voltage. My Orange Micro Dark was popping with allllll circuits.... Maybe something like that ?

1M on both input and output side (directly on the Footswitch breakout PCB). I've done that again yesterday on a dual pedal I was putting a Seabed on. Stopped all POP instantly.

Just got a batch of 200 TC1044 from Mouser and they "all" (tested about 10-15 randomly) wine into the Isosceles circuit. Those from Tayda are fine.

I had a bad batch from Mouser, high pitch with all those TC1044...

Same here. Had trouble with a "bad" mouser batch.

I just did something similiar but I put a Solid State Amp to power Headphones or small Cab :P Those Cab Sim sound so great.

Same here, I've done a lot of PedalPCB building and it was the first time I had trouble. I think the "Hot Cake"circuit, even if it is buffere, do somePop also.
