    SOLVED Nobelium Preamp/DI Issues

Hey, I built a nobelium a few weeks ago and It appeared to work, but while playing through it, the low E string Distorts/ farts out when played hard. When I heard this, I unplugged the jack from the input and a loud squeal came from the speakers. I am using a one spot for power supply with 9v...

    Transistor Socket

I am building a Sandspur Fuzz and the transistor sockets that I ordered are too large to fit on the PCB. The spacing of the pins on the transistor socket are too far apart for the PCB. Does anyone know what sockets will fit?

    Son of Ben Preamp

Built myself a few Son of Ben Preamps. I initially built the blue one and compared it to my original Benson Preamp and there was a very little discernable difference. The bulk of the difference was probably due to component tolerances. Other than that, the pedals sound just like the original...

    Pro-10 Overdrive build

Here is the build of my Pro-10. It is a very tight fit. I found that you can not use dust caps on the pots underneath the input and output jacks. Also, neutrik jacks did not work. The only style of jacks that fit were the ones I have in the build.

    Ground Enclosure

I was wondering what the benefit is to grounding the enclosure? If there is a benefit, how would you do this with a pedal PCB circuit board?
