Are all Devi ever circuits noisy? I built the torn speaker and sofa meiser on Vero and they sounded pretty meh. I assumed I had made a mistake but maybe not,

The handful I've built were. Noisy as in too much gain that will amplify any single coil or amp hum, but also the character of the drive is extreme/unnatural, which I suppose is the point.
