FINALLY a meatball layout that doesn't have rotaries crowding the footswitch!
I still think "Mode" should've been an on-on-on toggle instead of rotary, but whatever — I'll take it!
AND I did. Right away.
As far as I know PedalPCB doesn't make a Meatball substitute yet.
PedalPCB's Cheesemonger certainly has an advantage with using a 2P4T compact switch over Fuzz Dog's 3P4T Stinky Cheese, but at least Aion's Monolith is using a daughterboard for the 3P4T switch, which is a bit easier to accommodate in a build.
There's room enough in the market for different suppliers putting their different takes on circuits. Some are faithful to the original circuit, some will make improvements on known faults (such as adding a boost onto a circuit known to weaken the signal).
There are boards for radial caps where another PCB supplier might use axial for fun/mojo... some PCB suppliers have ridiculously large layouts for simple circuits* , some copy the original pedal's knob layout some don't...
Depending on what I want to accomplish and what's available, I don't have any guilt for any PCB shopping — I buy from here (just got the Electrovibe and VIIB), but I also buy from "there".

@slowpogo DEFX for example! Most people here know of DE and the other major PCB players. Personally, I don't like DE's meatball layout. Also been Lovetone stuff on Oshpark for ages. Didn't know Digi2T & PMowdes were based out of Canada, thanks for that info! DEFX has a great number of projects I'm keen to pull the trigger on)
@Bobbyd67 — what's the I5 preamp?
