My build report for the AionFX Polaris. This is based off the Human Gear Animato. Apparently a super rare pedal.

Rangemaster+Muff=Fire

This one is different. A good different. I really like the sounds you can get from it. It's a but noisy and needs a little dialing in to tame the somewhat harsh top end. But once you get it, it's nice. I did have a NTE103A for Q1 and went with a Ge PNP for Q2 that I had on hand. Sounds pretty good. I will be trying some other transistors in there just to see how it changes the sound.

Build went smooth. Fired up on first try. Very happy with the result.

Like I normally do, I ended up changing the knobs of this one. Just wanted to post this update for posterity sake.

I wonder how it would look with these knobs in the right shade of blue ?

I think the second knobs are the better looking ones, but I’ve struggled a bit with knobs where the indicator mark is real small like that. Nothing beats a big fat line as far as actually being able to see your settings.

Agreed! I do like the look of the 1st ones, just only on certain builds. The 2nd ones I just think 'fits' better.
