I've fancied an Andy Timmons drive because I like Marshalls and this seemed like a cheap way of getting close to that sound. I bought a board for me and one for my brother. We were coming up with ideas for the design of his and he thought something related to where we grew up since we both moved after uni. That combined with him being upset that Doncaster tried to take Robin Hood away from us, the following pedal was born.
I mixed up a Tayda drill template so I ended up having to do one in black. I like to call it the "midnight edition", though the green was the original. I built the black one second, I definitely like the power supply connectors so that the entire thing can be taken out easily. It's a solid overdrive, though I'm not sure I'd keep it on my board. I was comparing it my friend's Suhr Riot which I think I like more so I've bought the board for one of those too.
