Basic DSO question

I had one of these in my Amazon wishlist (use it for bookmarking more than anything) and my daughter bought it for me for Christmas. I know it’s very basic, minimal specs, but is it good for some things as far a pedal building goes?

I’d be afraid to use it on a tube amp even with the 10X probe.

For basic functions like calibration it's totally fine, this and a function generator app on your phone and you should be good.

The fact that I have no idea how to use a scope is one reason I wanted this cheapie version. Hurts less when I blow it up
