BBW Sonic Stomp high gain into mixer

Hi, I built a BBW kit from Musikding which worked fine with my Focusrite interface with guitar > bbw > interface. My friend is trying it out with his mixer and experiencing a very high gain/volume when engaging the pedal. Any ideas as to what the issue might be?

Since it’s been verified in your system, I’d suspect there’s something going on with your friend’s rig. The obvious places to look would be the channel’s pre-gain level on the mixer or the level of the pedal itself. If those check out, it’ll be time for further diagnosis.

Yup just phoned me and told me that he had the incorrect level selected all is good now... that mini heart attack tho.
