BC549C alternative for Duocast

I am building my first Doucast and the only part I am having an issue with is the BC549C for Q1 in https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/DuoCast.pdf. What is the best alternative. I can get a BC549B but cant find a BC549C

If you’d like it a bit quicker, these guys typically ship faster than SB and I’m in PA only a few hours from SB.

You could try a 2n5088. Note that you’ll have to turn the transistor 180 degrees (it has a different pinout).

I usually just spin the board around

That circuit is pretty forgiving re: HFE.

Any of the other usual suspects will work: MPSA18, 2N5210, 2N5089, BC550C, BC107C, 108C, 109C. As Benny says, mind the pinout.
