Boss RV-6 mode pot broken off

At my local guitar store there is a boss RV-6 massively discounted to $45 but the mode pot arm snapped off. Would anyone happen to know what potentiometer I would need to buy to replace the broken one? I figure I would end up with a really good deal if I can get thos repaired DIY.

The RV-5 uses a 6 detent 9mm 15k alpha pot (part number: RD901-20-15KW-B54_06). The RV-6 may use a similar pot with 8 detents, but I can’t find a copy of the service manual.

EDIT: The part number is RD901F-20-15FW-B50k-0853A. In a worst case scenario, you could probably use a standard B50k pot and get same experience, minus the tactile clicks.

I appreciate the responses this should definitely help, and the clicks in the pot arent to important to me as long as it functions as intended. I wonder if the reverbs would start blending together with a standard pot?

They won’t. It’s set up to set a voltage indicating a digital logic.

A B50k 9mm pin mount pot will work in that case. Be sure to get the ones with pin the pins that stick out rather than at a right angle.
