The ones with the parts values on the board are not a problem. But this one just has part numbers. What am I missing?Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty sure I've never used a build doc to build out a pedalpcb project.... Especially if it's just a straight up build with no specialty decommissioned submarine parts. I will on occasion use a drill template if it has something crazy with a lot of knobs and switches..
Ahhhh..... Well that's a different story... if it just shows R1, C1 D1 kinda stuff it's probably pretty important to have a build doc... I dont think I even have a pedalpcb board on hand out of over 120 different pcbs in possession that doesn't have values printed on them? The ones with the parts values on the board are not a problem. But this one just has part numbers. What am I missing?
The thumbnail photo just has part numbers but when it arrives it should say the actual values on it if you decide to go ahead and buy it. Sometimes he puts up that version of the picture, sometimes the other, both normally end up in the docs once they are published though. The ones with the parts values on the board are not a problem. Does anyone know why the build doc will not be released? From what I gather in the forums the pcb was released around 4 years ago.The thumbnail photo just has part numbers but when it arrives it should say the actual values on it if you decide to go ahead and buy it. Ppcb is just Robert.Does anyone know why the build doc will not be released? From what I gather in the forums the pcb was released around 4 years ago.
I would definitely buy it if It had a build doc.
Yes. Robert has been pretty responsive in supplying missing docs. The only thing I've found so far in the missing docs thread is a list of parts. Considering how many PCBs are for sale I always assumed there had to be multiple people doing the work.Ppcb is just Robert.
There's a backlog of build docs. For years he was pumping out multiple PCBs a week like a madman and the backlog got bigger and bigger. He's caught up a lot but some probably just won't ever happen. The ONLY PCB I am aware of having REFDES printed on it is some of the muff boards, because they are designed to build many versions of the muff.
Did you check the missing build doc thread?
Thanks Robert. I made no assumptions since the thumbnail was part numbers. It will be, it just fell through the cracks and was forgotten. The values are printed on the PCB.
I'll see if I can get it posted this weekend.
