I have an original Warden and I think I like this better, it just seems a bit smoother. The tone control is also more useful

Side note: my knobs on this are very stiff. Is there a solution to this or a reason why they could be so stiff?

Looks awesome! Reminds me I need to finish mine sometime ... The black footswitch looks killer on purple too.

For stiff pots I personally just use isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel and turn the pot back and forth with it in my hand a few times where the shaft meets the threaded section. The gold standard of fixing pot stiffness though is Deoxit contact cleaner, I just couldn't ever bring myself to drop that much $ on it.

If you push some knobs on until they bottom out you may find they are actaully making contact with the threaded section of the pot.

Good call, the knobs were set too low, adjusting them higher fixed me up. I checked that the set screw was not catching threads but I guess these knobs have grips inside that were. Thanks!
