SOLVED Diode identification for 2 builds without build docs - Alpaca Overdrive and Battery Box

Howdy all! I need some help id'ing the diodes for these pcb's the first is the alpaca overdrive - 1N400x ?
And the battery box micro - 5V1 not sure what a 5v1 is

Are you positive the 1n4001 is a 1? with the way it's printed it looks like it could be another digit as it looks like there's a tiny bit of ink sticking out of the band part of the diode symbol

yea it looks like it's a 4! but i wanted to be sure and im not sure what putting 1n4001 vs a 1n4004 would do

It’s just a diode reverse biased to ground from power for reverse polarity protection. You fine using any 1n400# device. If you don’t have a 1n4004 on hand, use whatever.

yea it looks like it's a 4! but i wanted to be sure and im not sure what putting 1n4001 vs a 1n4004 would do

nothing.
they're basically identical.
the only difference is the voltage rating.
both are acceptable.
