I love my Mach 1 and have been itching to get a comp back on my board. I had a Keeley Aria for a while but sold it. It was a nice tool and being able to switch the order was useful for different tones. So that was the inspiration for the build.
I personally love the Mach 1/Lightspeed as a first stage dirt and though I've never played a Thorpy Fat General, I'd heard enough videos to get a hunch that it would be a good fit. I also like to have the option of putting 1st stage dirt pre and post comp to change dynamic range when necessary.
So, I finally got all the parts in and with the advice I found here along the way, I finished it this morning. Thanks for the info and awesome pcbs, parts, etc.
LOVE this!
