EHX Tube Zipper

I'm afraid there were a couple enclosures in the order, so it will be a bit.
Haha fair enough. I can’t wait to give this one a go. I’m going get another Lab Rat to experiment with as well. Random question… when you ship your fully assembled Sushi Box FX pedals, do you you ship them with the tubes installed? I’m going to give my first Lab Rat to one of my homies for Xmas but I’m nervous about shipping pedal with tube inside…

I always ship with tubes installed and have never had an issue. The tube sockets hold the tubes securely enough that I've never had one slide out or bang around.

Interesting at the very end of that vid pinned to the top of this thread where he shows the foot pads that were used to keep the board from grounding out ⚡🦶hah 😁

I suppose with the size of that board they’d be more concerned about that??

It reminds me of this, where the gutshots show a fuse being used
https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/anything-kingsley.3977/

Leaves me wondering how much of an issue this is, since some Kingsley pedals (most photos of his pedals I’ve seen online, actually) seem to not be using a fuse. That isn’t to say his pedals do or do not use fuses, I don’t really know. Maybe he decided they’re redundant since the capacitor will already have discharged in the time it takes for a fuse to blow??

I'll get more boards on order and get started on something vaguely resembling a build doc. Should be available in a couple weeks I would think.
That is great news! That gives me time start coming up with artwork ideas for the tube zipper. I've already got artwork ready for Lab Rat build #2.
