Electrovibe Build

Cool pedal. Not an easy build but really fun.

I tried putting a 2M2 into R4 and it totally killed the chorus output (effect and sound), oddly enough not the vibrato channel, so I’m going back to the 47k. Seemed kind of weird since that was a recommended value. I probably dorked something else up. Any thoughts?

Lush whompy choruses. Vibrato is a little weak so if anyone has any suggestions on what to tweak I’d love to hear it.

If you changed R4 and got no output then you did something else wrong.

Were the sockets installed originally? Or did you add them to try different values?

If you have the LFO tweaked for good “Chorus” tones then Vibrato will be weak. That’s the nature of the beast and why I have Gain and Offset on the outside.

Also, faster speeds sound better with the Vibrato so, which is a good reason to increase Speed on both “sides” as well.

I added the sockets after boxing and after it was demonstrated to have sweet sounds. Once I socketed in the 2M2 then chorus went bye-bye. I like the idea of gain and offset on the outside. That's an interesting tweak! I know this isn't a big problem, signal loss, so I'll get it figured out pretty quickly.

It's going on my board b/c it's got such tasty tone.

Yeah 2M2 R4 mod worked fine for me. Actually all of @Big Monk mods worked for me minus the bi-color and the rate led because I didn’t do them.
