Electrovibe Enclosure Size

Hi everyone, Im pulling together the bits for the full size Electrovibe and was wondering if I need a 1590BB or a 1590BB2 enclosure to accommodate the lamp... Ive got a 7371 lamp to put in there.

I did find one thread where the builder used a taller enclosure but wanted to know what others used... The place I was hoping to order from only has 1590BB sized enclosures otherwise I would just play it safe and get the taller one.

Here’s my build report and in it I mention how I started with a BB and had trouble fitting it all in so I stopped and ordered the tallest one I could find.

This sounds pretty good. I immediately wrote a new song when I was testing to see if it worked! I incorporated the Unity Gain, Min/Max speed, LowEnd/2ndNotch, Darlington & Reliability mods. I started with a standard 1590BB but it was really tight, so much so that either of the 2 types of jacks...

Also, I still have some of the 3D printed dual gang dust covers if you want me send a couple to you.

Thanks guys, BB2 seems mandatory to avoid annoyances. Better go lookup those mods too before I get too carried away.

BB2 sure did make it easier. The unity gain mod works well for me.
