Not an envelope filter!

Just a utility pedal that has an expression output based on the level of the input signal.

So anything with an expression-in could be keyed off dynamics.

There was exactly this in the Craig Anderton “Electronic Projects for Musicians” book. Guitar signal passed through but you had (2) pairs of varying resistance outputs, and one control voltage output that varied based on your guitar signal level.
