That looks awesome. I have tons of Montana cans, but I haven’t tried many of their ‘effects’ spray. This is making wanna branch out.It is that textured. And this is what happens when you put Montana crackle over it View attachment 47845
I was doing some testing with the crackle. It really starts to pop when it gets clear coated! That looks awesome. I have tons of Montana cans, but I haven’t tried many of their ‘effects’ spray. This is making wanna branch out.
Nope. Unfortunately not yet.@Bricksnbeatles are you graduating?
It comes out perfect fine. It’s a heavily textured poweder coat so don’t expect everything to be perfectly smooth, but everything prints cleanly and quite nicely. You can see the texture in terms of shadows and highlights, but it doesn’t detract from the printing at all in my opinionHow is UV printing on the hammered enclosures? Does it get all weird, or does it come out ok?
yer phones about to dieTwo more new ones. Dark Champagne metallic, and glossy clear. Considering how great the matte clear looks, I’m tempted to try the gloss next!

ENCLOSURE MASKING SERVICE
Tayda Electronics - Get It Fast - Same Day Shippingwww.taydaelectronics.com
“THIS SERVICE IS FOR CUSTOMERS WHO WANT LESS PAINT GO INSIDE ENCLOSURE DURING POWDER COATING FOR WIRING AND CONNECTIVITY PURPOSES, WE WILL MASK INSIDE ENCLOSURE SO VERY LITTLE OR NO PAINT AT ALL GOES INSIDE THE BOX. THIS WILL ALSO PROTECT SCREW HOLES FROM PAINT GOING INSIDE.”
You can thank @Big Monk for that, I believe!and the enclosure masking service right below it is interesting as well!
I was on campus in the litho studio for hours listening to music while I worked. Didn’t have a place to plug inyer phones about to die
I dunno, I think $1 is pretty reasonable. I feel like tayda is just covering their end on that rather than gauging the customer. They gotta use some sort of medium to mask off the enclosure. As a whole, they seem to value their customer base as much as we value them. in my opinion, anyways
I would live for Hugo to put a video together showing their process with one of our enclosures. That would be so cool.Honestly, Hugo is charging way less than I'm sure the labor and materials cost.

That would definitely make for an excellent video. I’d be curious to see their warehouse for parts too. I’m tired of Gibson and prs factory walkthrough videos hahahaI would live for Hugo to put a video together showing their process with one of our enclosures. That would be so cool.
