Four-Jack 1590BB-sized Dual Pedals

Kind of a bit of a generic request and not sure if it’s super feasible and/or if there’s really much market, but…

something I’d really like would be some new pedals and/or revisions to existing ones that are 2-in-1s in 1590BB format with the four-jack or “send/return” option.

Specifically I’m thinking of some of the dual drives. With the KoT for instance you can get four-jack option direct from Analogman. I believe Akon’s build has it as an option too. Or I’ve built the Pro-10 dual and love it, but am using a bypass looper/switcher now so it’d be nice to be able to control both sides independently.

I know there’s the option of just boxing two independent PCBs in a 1590BB but I find this to be a bit finicky at times and can be a bit of a space concern. All things equal I’d much rather have a single dual PCB. I don’t know if there’s even space to rework and/or add two extra jacks in some cases. I guess TRS I/O could be an option to accomplish the same, I know some manufacturers have done this so that it can be a “standard” I/O with TS jacks or for independent control of both sides using TRS insert cables.

Similarly there are some other “combos” that come to mind for which the existing components are already available here - for instance I think a couple of JHS’s dual pedals are some combination of Morning Glory, Angry Charlie, Charlie Brown, Moonshine, etc (I don’t remember the specific combos) and all of those exist as standalone PCBs already. But it would be dope to see some single PCB versions of these dual drives put together, esp with bells and whistles like order switching or the aforementioned four jacks option. Again, some of these exist elsewhere but I’d certainly rather build PedalPCB for it!

Of course that doesn’t have to be limited to just dual drives but that seems to be one of the most common “commercial” options that you often see.

I’ve done it. Using a 1590bbt gives you a little bit extra room, though. I’ve done it in a regular 1590bb, but I had to trim some of the jacks down a little. Lumbered would work no problem. I have a dual ray and a dual tube screamer board that’s meant to have 4 jacks in a 1590bb.
