I found an interesting discussion on Stackexchange:
https://electronics.stackexchange.c...would-you-attach-a-diode-to-the-base-of-a-bjt
Has anyone tried this? Seems like you can simply add a Ge diode with comparable leakage to ground at your Ge transistor's base, and have simple temperature compensation. I'd like to test this, but collecting data will be a problem given the rudimentary instrumentation I have at home.
