the real reason fig has so many gift cards is that he calls old ladies saying that they owe the IRS money, and they need to pay off their debt by buying $1600 worth of PPCB gift cards and send the codes to him or else their assets will be liquified (not liquidated– Tim has an IRS-sanctioned liquefaction ray on his breadboard rn!)
