To think… I would’ve gotten it right out the gate on page 1 if I didn’t have such a boring compulsion to type PCB sellers names without any spaces, as is consistent with their url. From now on, I’m putting extra spaces randomly just in case 😂

Congrats @cwsquared, for you have led us back to discussion o’ guitars when we went astray! Truly Amazing that it took almost 500 posts for someone to mention a guitar on a guitar forum.

Good thing nobody accidentally said bass. That was @fig’s secret anti-code word which was set to activate sleeper agents to do irreparable harm to the world’s moonpie supply, thus driving up demand and value for his own stockpile. Oh no… he didn’t deactivate the anti-code command yet, did he? SLEEPER AGENTS ACTIVATING……🤖🤖🤖

The contest didn't officially start until post #100 (on page 5), so maybe you just jumped the gun. Unfortunately, I am required to inform you said "bass", right after "guitar" since I am not sure if my first scratch build should be the Jazzmaster-esque guitar I keep thinking about or, if I smoke the really good stuff, a multiscale bass. So, the sleeper agents have been at it for hours now. Hopefully the lone MoonPie I am expecting isn't stolen in transit. I may need to sell it to afford all the components for my ever expanding project backlog.

Good news all around then— it only took around 350 posts for someone to bring up guitars, rather than the previously estimated 450, AND the sleeper agents apparently… overslept? Idk— there hasn’t been any breaking news about mass destruction of creamy tropical-flavored rest-stop staples, and that surely would have been trending on Twitter or have hit front page of Reddit by now if they went live!

Now, how about you tell us about the plans for that guitar you’ll be building! I always have a few ideas cooking, but they get stuck simmering down to a viscous goo over the course of years it takes for me to commit to it 😂
Jazzmaster-esque always sounds good! Are the similarities more along the lines of body shape and aesthetics, or of hardware/electronics?
