Happy Pedal Addiction day! 2

It was today two years ago I finished my first pedal, after days of trouble shooting. The Son of Benson. My first thought was that it “gnarls like a beehive covered in wet moss. Exactly what I was looking for.” Still one of my favorite pedals although it got kicked off my main board months ago by the Mojito.

Little did I know what this addiction would turn into over the last two years. Today I start populating my 70th build an Electric Mistress clone.

To celebrate maybe I should load up on PCBs lol. Or I should find new homes for the three shoe boxes of pedals I love but never use.

Glasses up to all my fellow basement hobby pedal builders.

If you don’t like em, then sell em or give them to your buddies. Otherwise when you move out eventually you’ll ask yourself “why did I keep these?”. I’ve got a bunch I don’t use anymore, but I enjoyed the build process.

Congrats!
I'm in about the same boat. Finished my first pedal at the end of July 2020, and just finished my 60th build last week.
I find I have more hunger to actually make some noise than build lately, but I still have a handful of builds for the Fall, + some troubleshooting-needing build to go through.

And yeah, don't hold on to the ones you don't use (except for sentimental value); those pedals should be played! For myself, I only keep a minimal amount. I sell some to allow me to finance the ones I keep + the ones I give away to friends and family.
