Has anyone built the Seyfoam Overdrive?

I can’t really hear the EQ doing anything, the YouTube videos are the same result. Is your experience the same? I figured it out.

I built one and it has been on my pedal board ever since replacing a DIY TS808. I prefer this over the TS because of the EQ. I tried to use the intended chip MC33178 which I bought from China, I didn't like it. Maybe because it is a fake copy of the original MC chip. It sounded good with NE5532 but I liked it better with Burr Brown OPA2134. It sounds very much organic, produce clear OD, dynamic and touch sensitive to pick attack.
