HM-2 1.5uf cap

I used a 1uf with a reading of around 1.15uf. The pedal sounds like it should, would using a closer value cap create much of a difference?

I used a 1uF paralleled with a 0.47uF (both MLCC).

1.5uF:
Cutoff - ~87Hz (Q = 3.71)

1.15uF:
Cutoff - ~99Hz (Q = 4.23)

1uF:
Cutoff - 106Hz (Q = 4.54)

Tack a 470nF across it and see if you can hear any difference.

Alternatively, changing R25 to 470R and C16 to 1uF gives:
Cutoff - ~89Hz (Q = 3.8)

Were there any noticable differences in the boutique HM-2 that might be worth changing? I may have to start a thread when I get time to post some mods.

I added a 47n film cap in parallel with the 1u. I just checked to make sure it still fired up and I have sound, I used a little battery amp in my garage to test it, so I will have to plug it in later and see how different it sounds.
