Getting into EuroRack would be a gamble- basically a race to figure out what I'm doing before my hearing fades from old age.really . . . it depends on how you synthesize.
If you were to go EuroRack this could be every bit the bottomless pit pedals are at 10x the price point.
HA- I have an equally difficult time imagining myself a husband and father.. from where I stand we've got about equal stacks of pros and cons.I love my wife and kids more than anything and I can't imagine my life without them but that doesn't mean they don't also drive me crazy at times lol I think about this scene alot and how it represents the duality of relationships so perfectly

. . . anyone else eyeing the Behringer 2600 Blue/Gray faces?? Seems like a cool breach into some semi modular stuff. Say what you want about Behringer but they re release synths that I'd never afford or see otherwise!
Yup, all those keys and none of 'em for someone's heart.I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that the "Synth Guy" from the top video is a single man..
(sigh) very much like me..

Years ago a friend of mine found a Jupiter 8 for $500. So he bought it, then sold it for $1000. Then that guy sold it and my friend ended up buying it again for $500. So he sold it again for $1000... A Jupiter 8 is a big bit of kit to lug around but it's difficult for digital gear to sound quite as lush and fat.
Still, I'd rather have a Les Paul.
Wow. That's crazy! Well this was about 20 years ago I guess... The Jupiter 8 was frighteningly expensive when it first came out - a lot of synths were. I don't know how players could afford all this stuff. His main keyboard in his band was a Korg Poly 800 - just a little more affordable than a Jupiter 8! Even I had had a Juno 106.
