Is SW the same as 9V in the Auditorium?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is the SW terminal basically the same as 9V+?

it is the wire that comes from the ground side of the LED to the footswitch. when the pedal is engaged the wire connects to ground and completes the circuit for the LED to turn on.

GND is the circuit ground, SW is the switchable LED ground.

Ah, in that case, does it matter which 9V lead I connect? Either the one reserved for the power supply or the one pictured above, going to the board? Or should both be connected to the same block?

for your testing board you just need to run 9v and ground to the PCB. you can leave the SW part unconnected.
