Its a great idea. It's also a great counterpart to the Hizumitas Fuzz, since Wata from Boris' signature move is to boost the Elk Sustanar with a DS1. I would include separate controls for both DS1 and Muff, as well as tone shaping options (mid-boost/tone bypass), as well as three footswitches: Fuzz, Boost, Bypass...

... all that being said... the AionFX Comet board includes an option to set it up with BMP Clipping... I built one... it's not bad at all... (BMP mod on the right)



... of course, this was when I was in my "mirror the original enclosure" phase...
