Is this normal on the Parthenon Overdrive

There is not enough space for the B100K potentiometer next to the switch. This is the switch recommended in the build docs so it’s not like I bought the wrong switch or is it just designed to sit crooked like this?

You need to pull the dust cap off the pot. (Make sure you insulate it from the PCB)

It'll still be tight, but it'll fit.

Seems a little better still a bit cooked to the side but not as much. How do I insulate it without the cover on it.

Electrical tape or a piece of cardboard/paper between the pot and the board

Use anything non conductive as long as it doesn't short on any solder joints

You may have forgotten but you'd also want to remove the anti rotation tag from the pot body unless you're going to drill a small hole for it or it won't sit flush in the enclosure

I just take a razor knife and trim the side off the pot cover where it meets the switch

I have an old pair of flush cutters I use to pop those off. Works great. That method would prevent them from flying across the garage, but then what fun would that be?

Needle nose pliers pop them off with ease too...but also less fun.
