For my ideal "sammich", the most important ingredient is the bread. You can have the best ingredients in the world inside, but if the bread is too dry, stale, falls apart, or has an odd taste/texture, it won't make the sandwich whole.

That being said, you must choose the correct bread. PB&J on a tortilla just sounds weird/wrong for example.

The correct bread is whatever the fuck JimmyJohns uses... That shit is delicious.
