I don't know what Yalls' problem is... Tube screamers are the Bees Knees of pedals.. You know damn well you all come back to some form of one on your board.....

There is a muff into a screamer joke in here somewhere......
(suddenly there is lighting out of nowhere and a Nissan Sentra with Delorean style gullwing doors appears.
An old man in a cheap suit jumps out, Huey Lewis blacking, scratches out a number, writes in a new one then dives back into the car. Guns it to 88 MPH, it takes a LONG time since it is a Nissan Sentra with tons of heavy time travel equipment. 5-6 minutes later there is another flash of lightning as it vanishes leaving burning tire tracks and a spinning license plate that says “TubeSchemer”)

Don't have letterbox, but have thought about it…
I have a hard time hard line ranking films, and I'm all over the place. Here's a shortlist:
- Top Secret (1984), everybody talks about and memes about Airplane, but it doesn't hold a candle to this one. A treat.
- the Dark Crystal (1982) they tried really hard to combine a wonderfully creative fantasy world with a solid story. There's this strange aesthetic of the time with crystalline tones and textures that really gets to me. Random thing to be drawn to, I know.
- Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) in my view, a perfect film. Everything about it.
- Hot Fuzz (2007) better than Shawn of the dead in every way fight me. The Empire Strikes Back of the cornetto trilogy.
- I'm too tired to think of a fifth one…
