Keeley 4-knob compressor

The Delegate is all well and good . . . a "full featured" optical compressor. For simpletons like me I'd like something simpler like the Keeley Compressor.

The BYOC kits are over $75. I can get the real deal off of Reverb for under $100. I can typically build a PPCB for $25+/-. A good Ross style compressor should be standard fare for Robert and company.

Thanks!! I only pick on the Keeley because it gets such consistent accolades. I'm currently using the Xotic SP . . . again, because its small, simple and is well reviewed. I'm basically just looking for a "Ross style" comp with a blend knob. I trust your judgement as to which circuit design best fits the bill.

There’s many PCBs for the Ross out there, I think the BYOC is still your best bet! Unless you want to fit this in with a 4 knob build :)

You guys are right on the PCB only at BYOC. Unfortunataely they report that the chip they use (BA6110) is now obsolete and it is "out of stock" in their parts inventory. Otherwise it looks just like what the doctor ordered.

I add my voice to those wanting a Keeley Compressor Plus !

If Adrian Belew use it, I need it. ;)

Add me to the list of buyers for one of these. Anything over 4 knobs I stay away from, just my personal preference. I’ll be building me the 2 knob Constrictor as soon as I get my next shipment of pcbs.....one of these days ?
