SOLVED Kentauride No Sound

I have an Effects Layouts Kentauride that I have finished but there is so sound in either bypass or effects. This is the first time I've had this specific issue; could someone tell me what is the first thing to do? (Photos included)

There is continuity between pin 7 and both pads of R17, and pin 7 and the bottom pad of R16.

That is what I expected.
Can you look at the Solder pad around PCB PIn 7 on the Board for contacting anything around it as PCB Pin 5 is Ground and it could be causing the short, top & bottom of PCB!

Ah ha! I think there is a bridge between pad 5 & 7 on the top of the PCB.

I replaced the footswitch earlier in this thread because the original problem was there was no sound in bypass, which was fixed when the switch was replaced.

Yep, so there has been some / alot of heat and Solder getting put on delicate areas!

Yeah, there is continuity between pin 5 and pin 7 on the footswitch in both bypass and on position. Normally, there shouldn't ever be continuity between those pins?

NO, Desolder Pin 5 & see if R16 & R17 are back to Normal!?

I have de soldered the wire in pad 5 on the PCB. The other end of the wire is still connected to pin 5 on the footswitch. What is the "normal" situation for R16 & R17?

They should not have Continuity with Ground on the Bottom Pads!

They do not have continuity with ground!

And there is sound in bypass AND on position! Even with the pin 5 wire still not attached to the PCB (is that normal?).

I would say yes as you have Ground on your iN & OUT jacks & Power on the PCB.
What it will effect is turning on your LED & Bleeding when your in Bypass.
Is there Continuity between Pin 5 & 7 now?, Power unplugged.

Oh I see. Also, when I removed the wire form pad 5, I was able to clear out the solder bridge that wad there between the 5 & 7 pad.
Ok. I will solder the wire back in - carefully - and hopefully this is done!

So yeah, looks like everything is working as expected. On the Klon side, as I was twisting the knobs, with the gain up high when there was a forceful strum, there was some crackle / farting out but I pressed the diodes firmly in and that seems to have stopped. Sound right?

That or your dual Gang is an issue, Is that going to line up with the standard Hole pattern???

I'm glad to see a satisfying end to it!!!
It would have been handy to see a photo with the TS side new Footswitch at the onset when I came in, ha ha!!!

Well, funny thing about that. I am about to split the dual gang into 2 pots so I have bot Gain and Clean pots.

Completely epic! At least for me.

Thank you all who contributed to this thread with help! Seriously. Especially @music6000, who seems like his life was put on hold
I sure learned a lot in this process that I didn't know before, so thanks for being patient and taking the time to chime in.
